I've heard of many Good Friday traditions, but I've bet you've never heard of my old one so I thought I'd share.
When I was a teen, I loved horror flicks. Not the slasher movies, but the ones that scared you for weeks. My unusual Good Friday tradition was to watch movie, The Seventh Sign. It has a young Demi Moore in it and takes place over the Holy weekend of Good Friday to Easter Sunday.
If you haven't seen it, the moral of the movie can be echoed in Klaus' sentiments on the last Vampire Diaries episode:
"Don't underestimate the allure of darkness."
Have you seen The Seventh Sign? What did you think?

I'm excited for my Catholic brethren and sisters.
This pope is from Latin America and he's a Jesuit. I think he'll have much to teach all Christian believers. May the Holy Spirit guide him in his leadership all his days.
